After a shaky start Jamie Cunningham came in to pitch three scoreless innings of relief and Harry Loud got the final thre outs to pick up the save as the Narragansett Lions edged Chariho, 5-3.

Leading the way offensively for Narragansett were Eddie Blessing (2/3, one run scored), Phil Ruhle (2/3, one run scored), Jamie Cunningham (1/3, one double and one run scored) Harry Loud (2/3, three rbi’s), Eric Lindley (1/1) and Lucas Crook (one rbi).

Four Bulldog pitchers combined to hold off LaSalle 2-1 on a sweltering day at Fay Field in Cranston.

Ranier Vargas, Quinn Lanigan, Noah Rennick, and Matt Winn combined on getting the key outs when needed to allow the Bulldogs to run their record to 10-2 on the season.

The Bulldogs, who scored two runs in the first inning, received a timely hit from Noah Rennick (rbe double).

Jonas Kendra struck out two batters and allowed just one hit in five innings of work to earn the victory for Flood Ford Auto.
