Led by the two-hit pitching of Jackson Potts, Tiverton beat Scituate, 8-2.

Potts, who pitched six innings, struck out five batters and did not issue a walk.

Offensively, the Tigers received multiple hit games from Chris Letendre (2/4, one run scored and two rbi’s), Doug Connors (2/3, two runs scored), Devan Pieroni (3/3, two runs scored, one rbi), Tom Wood (one home run) and Matt Potvin (2/3, one run scored and one rbi).

Led by the stellar pitching of Alex Pedus (pictured), West Warwick won the second game of a doubleheader, 8-3, over Chariho.

Pedus, who went the distance, struck out 14 batters and did not allow a free pass. Out of 96 pitches thrown, he threw 70 strikes.

For Chariho, Justin Giles, who threw 71 of 126 pitches for strikes, allowed only three earned runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings of work.

In the top of the seventh inning with West Warwick clinging to a 5-3 lead with two outs, Colby Knott hit an rbi single to left field to score Brenda Griffin (single) and Bryan Araujo hit a two-run triple for an 8-3 lead.

Offensively, West Warwick was led by Nick Pedus (2/2, four runs scored and four stolen bases), Araujo (1/3, one triple and three rbi’s), Kyle Kortick (1/3, one double and two runs scored), Knott (1/4, one run scored and one rbi), Brendan Griffin (1/1, one run scored) and Dylan Lombari (1/1).

Alan Carpenter, who caught all 14 innings of the doubleheader, led Chariho with three hits.

In game one of their doubleheader with Chariho, West Warwick won 9-4.

John Pina, who pitched the first four innings, picked up the victory by allowing just three earned runs on six hits while striking out two.

Ty Condon (pictured), who pitched the final three innings, struck out five and allowed just one hit. Out of 32 pitches thrown, he threw 26 strikes.

Offensively, West Warwick was led by Colby Knott (2/2/, two doubles, two runs scored and four rbi’s), Kyle Kortick (2/4, one double and two rbi’s), Mason Provoyeur (1/2, two walks and two runs scored), John Pina (three walks and two runs scored) and Liam Gravier (1/1, one stolen base and one rbi).

Nate Barrette (2/3, one run scored and one rbi) and Alan Carpenter (1/3, two rbi’s) led the Chargers.

Behind the two-hit complete game pitching of Noah Rennick, the Cranston Bulldogs defeated Warwick PAL 5-0.

Noah was dominant throughout and never let a runner past second base in the win.

Alex Paone and Adam Dibiase got key RBI singles in the fifth inning to give the Bulldogs some breathing room down the stretch.

Connie Mack Baseballs
